Call for Papers

Authors are invited to submit papers presenting original and unpublished research in all areas related to Recognizing Textual Entailment and Question Answering. Suggested topics include but are not limited to:

Publication

Papers will be accepted for oral presentation at the workshop and included in the proceedings which will be published in a special issue of the journal Research in Computer Science Research in Computer Science, indexed in DBLP. Based on the quality of the submissions we are considering publishing substantially extended version of best papers in a post-workshop special issue of a distinguished journal. The extended versions will undergo additional review process for inclusion in the special issue.

Submission Details

Authors are invited to submit a technical paper written in English in Springer LNCS style, see more information on formatting (note: while the journal happens to use the same format as Springer LNCS, the proceedings will be published in the RCS journal and not in Springer LNCS). Included in the fee are 12 pages; additional pages will be charged at a small fee of USD 10 per additional page (if this is a problem for you, please contact us and we will see what to do, but please do not sacrifice the quality of your paper because of the page limit). The submissions must not contain authors' names or affiliations. They must not include either any information that may reveal the authors' identities. Submissions which fail to meet these requirements will be rejected without review.

In order to submit a paper electronically, authors must send an e-mail with the subject: "RTE-QA-2015 Submission" to Partha Pakray and Alexander Gelbukh with the paper attached in PDF format; the body of the message should contain the following data:

  1. Paper title.
  2. Authors' names and affiliations.
  3. Postal address, e-mail address and phone number of the contact authors.
  4. The abstract of the paper.
  5. Up to five keywords.

The workshop will be held in conjunction with MICAI 2015 that will take place this year on October 25 to 31, 2015 in Cuernavaca (near Mexico City), Mexico.
